The non-audited sales revenue for connector and cable assembly manufacturer, SINBON (TSEC#:3023), in August is NT$1.084 billion which increased of 2.70% and 10.32% over 2015 July’s revenue of NT$1.055 billion and 2014 Augusts’ revenue of NT$983 million. The accumulated sales revenue for the last eight months is NT$8.287 billion, which is an increase of 6.75% over the same period of 2014.
According to SINBON, consolidated sales revenue of August reached at NT$1.084 billion which is the highest record of a single monthly sales revenue in the company history. The major reason of growth is the increasing demand and shipments of cable assemblies and connectors of medical and personal care devices, automotive, wireless communication and electronic peripheral components. The sales revenues of cable assemblies for wind energy and industrial control related remain constantly. The shipment of medical and personal care devices is benefited by the increasing demand of medical examination machinery and its sales revenue was over forecasting as single monthly revenue was increased of 8.58% over last month. The growth of accumulated sales revenue for the last eight months for medical and personal care devices is 13.10% over the same period of last year. Even though demand of automotive industry in Mainland China is retarding, but the shipment for automotive is increasing gradually due to end customers’ requirements. The growth of sales revenue in July is 4.49% which has been the two consecutive monthly growths. With the risk management, SINBON has started to emerge into European countries. As for communication and electronic peripheral components, sales revenue for mobile devices in Mainland China has rebound slightly so growth rate of the shipment is 5.77% over July under the situation of increasing orders from customers for two consecutive months.
Upon sales revenue by each product category, cable assemblies take about 65.76%, while connectors and other components/accessories take about 34.24% of total sales revenue.
Broken down by each field, the total shipments are: communication and electronic peripheral components (29.37%); industrial control related (28.91%); green energy and ecology related (21.48%); medical and personal care devices (11.10%); automotive (9.14%).
