The non-audited sales revenue for connector and cable assembly manufacturer, SINBON (TSEC#: 3023), in January, 2015 was NT$1.042 billion. This is an increase of 15.73% and 10.50% over the same period of 2014’s revenue of NT$901 million and last month’s revenue of NT943 million respectively.
According to SINBON, the sales revenue for January is NT$1.042 billion which is the highest record since company was established, as well as the first time that a single monthly sales revenue is over NT$1 billion. It is an increase of 15.73%, and the major areas of growth comes from long-term cultivation in those high value cable assemblies, including green energy, industrial field, medical devices, and automotive, which SINBON has successfully built up a trust with customers. SINBON’s sales revenue is complement with customers’ growth in demands from end users and this enables SINBON’s sales revenue goes upward constantly. Sales revenue for green energy has reached to NT$252 million which is a growth of 86.85% over the same period of 2014. Sales revenue for industrial field is NT$303 million which is an increase of 25.04% over the same period of last year. Sales revenue for medical field is NT$69 million which is an increase of 29.60%, while sales revenue for automotive is NT$112 million with the growth of 2.38% over the same period of last year. The growth of accumulated sales revenue for January is 10.50% which comes from the merits of extension of both Mainland China and US government subsidiaries on wind energy. Installation of wind energy increases which makes SINBON’s customers demanding for more inventory. In addition of demanding for solar cables, growth rate of sales revenue for green energy is up to 52.37%. The shipment of industrial cable assemblies is benefited by the recovery of North American market and seasonal demand, its sales revenue increased over 12.58%. The sales revenue for medical devices and personal care is benefited by customers’ increasing purchasing orders and launching of new health examination machinery and monitoring devices, the sales revenue is increased over 6.02% over previous month. As for cable assemblies for auto backing senor, along with the initial approval of HDMI cable assemblies by auto maker which applies in Mainland China, sales revenue has gone up 4.94%. As for the communication and electronic peripheral components, sales revenue was influenced by customers’ year-end stock-taking and it dropped 10.37%. Overall, increasing shipment on cable assemblies of green energy, industrial, medical and personal care device and auto has driven the growth of company accumulated sales revenue by 10.50%.
The shipment of cable assemblies for automation warehousing system is on process smoothly. With the customer’s satisfactory on product quality and punctual delivery, request of sample testing of another charging item was received and it is planned to deliver the sample in the end of March. Shipment is expected to be carried on by second quarter after customer’s acknowledgement.
Sales revenue by each product category is: cable assemblies 66.18%, and connectors and other components/accessories 33.82% of the total sales revenue.
Broken down by each field, the total shipments are: industrial control devices (29.08%); communication & electronic peripheral components (26.70%); green energy related (24.18%); automotive related (10.71%); medical and caring devices (9.33%).
